What We Do

We like to think of Salted Caramel as a three ring circus creating “Sweet Meets Savory” treats. Each is a twist on a classic and presented with a vintage circus feel, honoring the fun that you can imagine comes with having a candy company.

Salted Caramel was created in the Fall of 2009 with determination and one product... Bacon Bourbon Caramel Corn. With three anniversaries under our belt, we're proud of our commitment to natural ingredients and supporting other small businesses. We love incorporating into our recipes products from local artisans, many of whom have become our friends. In fact, it is being a part of the thriving Chicago food community that helps us stay creative.

We've come a long way from an hourly rental kitchen offering one product in one size and a 'do it yourself' website. Our expanded treat offerings is not the only place we've grown. We've worked hard to gain presence in local and national shops, and we are flattered by the attention we've received from the Press. With all of that we know that ultimately the reason we have succeeded thus far is from the overwhelming support of customers, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue to satisfy their 'sweet meets savory' needs in the future!
